4/16 Broadcast

So last week, it was revealed that Sharon's silent partner is none other than Steve Owen! I don't know about you, but it wasn't completely a shock to me- there was something fishy going on with Steve right when the Vic was first sold after all. Remember how the writers played with us for a whole episode, suggesting it was Steve who had bought the Vic, until it was finally revealed to be Sharon? I am not surprised that what seemed like we were being toyed with then, was actually subtle foreshadowing. Anyway, this week's episodes were summed up by the folks at Walford.net (almost 5 years ago in June of 2001) and you can view their recaps here (for the first episode) and here (for the second).

Use the comment section to share your thoughts or views on this week's EE episodes.

SPOILER WARNING: Do not read comments section if you haven't seen this week's episodes yet!

welcome!

Hello EastEnders fans from the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia!

We're lucky to have access to one of the few public television stations left in the country that regularly broadcasts EE. However, because EE comes on so late at night, and just once week, it's not often that you run into another fan.

Have you ever watched EastEnders and felt totally isolated afterwards? Like you'd had this amazing experience, and you wanted to share it, but none of your friends, or family cared, or understood?

Now, with this blog, you don't have to be alone with all of our friends in Walford. Instead, each week, I'll post a brief recap of the WLVT EE broadcast. Then, using the comment section, we can all "talk" about what we thought of the episode.

How did you feel when Pat cheated on Roy with Frank Butcher? What was your reaction when Sharon bought the pub fron under Peggy's nose? What about when it turned out that Lisa had shot Phil?

Eastenders is full of great moments and we need a place to discuss them more. However, this will only work if you participate! So read, write and comment!
